Corralejo—famous for the sand dunes and natural park a lively tourist town with a larger variety of bars and shops and hosts the islands only water park. Also from here a regular ferry runs to Lanzarotte or you can take a water taxi to Lobos Island an uninhabited beauty spot.
El Cotillo—beautiful beaches and lagoons on both sides of this unique fishing village. The protected harbour has a wide variety of restaurants and bars and is well worth stopping for lunch.
La Oliva—famous for the Colonels house its an inland town and municipal centre for the North of the Island
Pueto del Rossario— The local bus service runs every 15 minutes from Caleta de Fuste, so there is no need to hire a car. This is the capital of the island with interesting shops and bars on the port, and the La Rotunda a big shopping Mall everyone loves to shop at.
Betancuria a hair raising drive up through the mountains to the picturesque town of Bettancuria, this town is featured on all the brochures and was the old capital of the island.
Parjara is dominated by Nuestra Señora de Regla Church, dating back to 1687. A small old town with interesting eateries
Ajuy a small remote fishing village on the west coast of Fuerteventura in the Canary Island, famous for its caves
Gran Tarajal One of the first ports in Fuerteventura it has a large marina and see front promenade lined with bars and restaurants.
La Lajita- Home of the famous Oasis park - This is a day out by itself and is well worth a visit. The Zoo runs free buses so it is accessable even if your don't decide to hire a car
Morro Jable as far south as the road will go an interesting port town built on hills with a new tourist resort built alongside
